Position Overview
You will be responsible for the planning, design, construction, operation, and improvement of internal corporate networks across our company and its global group (including overseas offices).
Detailed Responsibilities
Our company operates network infrastructures for over 30 office locations and multiple data centers. As our business grows globally and our workforce expands, the number of office networks we build and manage continues to increase annually.
The internal network team is seeking individuals who can quickly adapt to these changes and collaborate with us in designing, building, operating, and improving stable networks for our employees.
- Note: The scope of work focuses on internal corporate networks, while commercial networks are managed by a separate department.
- Network device monitoring and maintenance operations are primarily conducted by a 24/7/365 Operations Center.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate WAN/Internet lines, wired/wireless LANs for office buildings.
- Design, build, and operate data center networks for inter-site connectivity.
- Design, build, and operate external connections (site-to-site VPN) to enable system access from outsourced offices.
- Strengthen monitoring, visualization, and operational optimization of constructed networks.
- Evaluate, select, and implement new technologies and products.

Required Qualifications
- English Proficiency: Business conversation level
- Japanese Proficiency: Business conversation level (For non-Japanese nationals, JLPT N2 or higher is required)
- Education: Vocational school graduation or higher
- Visa Status: Must have permission to work in Japan
Required Skills/Experience
- Over 5 years of practical experience in planning, designing, building, operating, improving, and troubleshooting corporate networks with multiple sites.
- In-depth knowledge of BGP, OSPF, MC-LAG, FHRP, and ACL.
- Experience in selecting and contracting various WAN/Internet lines.
- Basic knowledge and operational experience with Linux servers.
- Fundamental knowledge and experience with cabling, physical devices, modules, transceivers, and power-related matters.
- Experience managing and completing multiple projects simultaneously.
- English: Business level (able to conduct meetings with overseas IT professionals without an interpreter).
For non-Japanese nationals, Japanese proficiency must be at a business level (equivalent to JLPT N2 or higher).
Preferred Skills/Experience
- Experience in designing, building, and operating:
- Cisco L2/L3 switches and routers.
- Firewalls, SD-WAN, and SSL-VPN products.
- Wireless LAN networks in environments with a large number of devices.
- Network authentication technologies (e.g., 802.1X, certificates).
- Networks for overseas offices.
- Office networks supporting thousands of users.
- IPv6 networks.
- Experience developing operational tools using scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
- Experience in selecting, evaluating, and testing new products and solutions.
- Experience managing multiple team members and successfully completing projects.
Experience & Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
- Career Level: Mid-career professional.
